What Is the EB-3 Visa Program?

The EB-3 (Employment-Based Third Preference) Visa is a U.S. employment-based immigration program that allows qualified foreign professionals, skilled workers, and certain other workers to obtain lawful permanent residency (a Green Card) through employer sponsorship.
Healthcare professionals, including many internationally trained nurses and clinicians, may qualify through this pathway when sponsored by a U.S. employer. The EB-3 category is administered through the U.S. immigration system and can provide a long-term opportunity to live and work in the United States.
